Stepping On has been recently established with an aim to improve outcomes for vulnerable, disadvantaged and disabled children and young people worldwide. In every aspect of its functioning Stepping On utilises pioneering and cutting edge technology to deliver services on an international basis, puts into place innovative teaching and support processes, and creates an international peer and support group for all children involved.
Funds raised from the 2008 COINS 3 Peaks Challenge event will support projects that make effective use of innovative technology for collaborative learning, web based counselling and job matching for vulnerable, disadvantaged and disabled children and young people worldwide.
Stepping Stones School is one of the projects already underway. It is already making a huge difference to the lives of children with hemiplegia. Read more about the school.
